Nothing was before the Monolith.

Only was the Void, permeating every moment, consuming everything forever.

Then, as the singularity willed, the Monolith became.

Through the Monolith, the void was broken. The primordial emptiness was divided by an immense Rift, and its remnants were transformed into worlds, fragments of existence drifting amidst a vast ocean of dark water.

The Monolith created.

The Monolith created life, and we were birthed from its cosmic womb.

The Monolith gave life sentience, and we questioned our existence, an endless hunger for knowledge.

The Monolith granted us eyes, and we saw that which was always present, always imperceptible.

The Monolith is the source, perceiving infinity through the chasm of creation.

And under its ceaseless gaze, the Rift will never be sealed.
